Wanted: General Manager for Information Technology (GM-IT)
Bisnis Indonesia is recruiting !
Your primary challenge will be organizing more than 20 years of business information and make them ready for delivery through multimedia channels preferred by users: print, email, online, mobile, data feeds, or terminals. Moreover, this ‘pool of information’ should be shareable by all subsidiaries and corporate customers.
Bisnis Indonesia is the largest business and economy newspaper in Indonesia, first edition published December 14th, 1985. We are living witness of Indonesia’s economy ups and downs, from the opening of Jakarta stock exchange followed by booming in stock market, the rise of conglomerates, to the ‘97 - ‘98 economic crisis, the IMF’s years and the reformation era. Through the years, we have collected business and economy information ranging from news and articles, photos, to economy and financial historical data. Information has become our most valuable asset.
As Bisnis Indonesia shifts from a mere newspaper publisher to information provider, we need a strong foundation for acquiring, sharing, storing, archiving, organizing, securing and delivering information. You can name it anything : knowledge management system, content management system or whatever, but the purpose is the same: capitalizing on information.
You will work in a challenging environment as Bisnis Indonesia undergo a paradigm shift. We are offering you the opportunity to become the first IT professional in Indonesia that really manages information as the product, where business really depends on it. Information is more than supporting business. Information is the business.
If you think you got what it takes, send a complete resume and recent photograph to deriz.syarief [at] bisnis.co.id. International applicants are welcome !
